GiliSoft Private Disk is a very basic program that will allow you to create a hidden, password protected compartment on a pendrive or HDD disk. It's an excellent way to keep sensitive material safe from prying eyes.
GiliSoft Private Disk is really very easy to use but it lacks options, which will be a problem for some. Usefully, you can still access your hidden files, even on computers that GiliSoft Private Disk isn't installed on - the app installs an .EXE on your USB or disk and then administers the password protection via this agent.
Unfortunately, GiliSoft Private Disk lacks any configuration settings to make using it very comfortable or slick. You can create and remove private areas, as well as mounting and unmounting, but you can't rename your private disk and there's no offline help.
GiliSoft Private Disk is the most basic of apps that create secure volumes on disk or pendrives.
